PENS at Elliott Masie's Learning 2005: Presentation and demo by several vendors supporting PENS. A narrated slide overview is available online from the Learning 2005 Wiki (13 slides ~12 minutes). Vendors participating included: EEDO Knowledgeware , HarvestRoad, Macromedia, Plateau, and Recombo

PENS Specification Approved by AICC : The AICC approved documents labeled AICC AGR-011 and AICC CMI-010 at AICC June 2005 Meetings in Helsinki. The documents are available for download from the AICC web site. Free PENS Sample HTML available on AICC Web Site : To assist with adoption and implementation of the PENS specification, the AICC releases sample code in HTML and Javascript that forms a PENS collect command, either displaying it for pasting into a client window, or submitting it to a PENS server.  

January 2005
 

PENS Draft Specification Submitted to AICC : The work group team submits draft documentation as documents labeled AICC AGR-011 and AICC CMI-010 at AICC January 2005 Meetings in Miami. Additional interoperability demonstrations are performed and presentations are made showing PENS implementation plans and options. The PENS documents are available for review during a comment period. Subject to reviewer comment, a final draft will be submitted for ballot in June 2005.

PENS Discussion Forum available on AICC Web Site : To facilitate collaboration and review of PENS specifications, the AICC creates a discussion forum- CMI010 (PENS) - Package Exchange Notification Services Forum.
